Dr. Manat Kamboj, DVM

When I was five years old, I moved to Sacramento, California because my dad bought his first veterinary practice. He took me to work on his first day and I was excited because I knew that I would get to play with different types of animals. I looked forward to these days as a kid! Through my dad's career, I was able to observe the affection that animals are given, the instant and humane care that is delivered to them in times of emergency, and the constant support provided to clients who are worried about their pets. I wanted to be a part of that too.

I received my bachelor's degree at UC Riverside, went to veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and completed my clinical year at Texas A & M. In my time in practice, I have seen this relief that clients display when their pet is feeling better, as well as the comfort animals show when they are able to go home with their loved ones.

When I'm not in scrubs, I spend time with my red standard poodle Ruby and my family. We enjoy long walks and cooking different recipes in the kitchen together. I look forward to meeting you all!
